Are there any age restrictions?
Yes. Guests at the VR-Arena must be at least 8 years old.
PLEASE NOTE: The escape room is suitable for ages 12 and up.
Can I wear my glasses?
Yes, most standard frames (not teardrop-shaped) fit under VR goggles. Alternatively, contact lenses are recommended.
What should I wear?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes. Sturdy shoes are required for the virtual high ropes course.
What kind of offers can I expect at the VR Arena?
We offer an AR escape room, a VR high-rope course (including a route suitable for wheelchair users), and a VR paragliding experience.
Do I need to bring anything?
No, you don’t need to bring anything, and you don’t need any prior experience.
Can I just drop by?
We strongly recommend booking in advance to secure your spot. Walk-ins are only possible if there are still spots available. In that case, you may have to wait.
Can I come by even if I do not have any VR experience?
Absolutely! Our VR Arena is suitable for everyone—whether you’re a beginner or a VR pro! Our team will explain everything to you and make sure you’re comfortable.
How do I book my ticket?
Through our online store. To do so, click the “Ticket Shop” button and follow the instructions.
Can I cancel my visit?
In general, you have an unrestricted right to cancel up to 15 minutes after booking, which means you can cancel your visit at no cost.
Up to 48 hours before your visit: Conversion to a gift certificate or free rescheduling*
Up to 24 hours before your visit: No conversion to a gift certificate; free rescheduling only*
Up to 12 hours before your visit: No conversion to a gift certificate; rescheduling for the same day only*
12 hours or less before your visit: No conversion to a gift certificate and no rescheduling possible**
*Rescheduling is generally subject to availability. A requested date cannot be guaranteed.
** If availability permits, the ticket time slot may be rescheduled once on the day of the visit to an earlier or later time. This must be arranged by phone and is only permitted in exceptional cases.
Can I visit the Triberg VR Arena on my own?
Yes, all of our experiences can be booked individually or enjoyed on their own. The exception is our AR escape room, which is offered as a group experience for 2 to 5 people.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes, that is allowed. Please note that food and drinks may only be consumed in the entrance area. Once you are in the experience area, this is no longer permitted to protect our equipment.
There is also a vending machine in the entrance area that offers water and soft drinks, where you can grab a drink.
Can I give a gift card as a present?
Of course—you can buy a gift card in our online store and give it as a gift!
I have a “B” designation on my disability ID card. Does my companion have to pay admission?
If your companion is not wearing VR goggles and is there to accompany and assist you, they do not have to pay admission. If your companion is wearing VR goggles while accompanying and assisting you, they must also pay admission.
